Let me introduce myself...
Hi, I’m Sarah!
I'm a high school teacher and proud mom to two energetic boys, ages 5 and 2. As a parent, I know how important it is to let kids be kids — to climb, splash, dig, and explore without worrying about ruining their clothes.
The idea for Creekside Kids Secondhand came to me on a summer afternoon when I was pregnant with my youngest. My oldest was knee-deep in a local creek, catching crayfish with butterfly nets, soaked, muddy, and grinning ear to ear. I remember thinking, “Thank goodness I bought that outfit secondhand.” In that moment, I knew I wanted to create a place where parents could find stylish, great-quality kids’ clothing that didn’t rely on fast fashion.
My goal was to fill a gap in our small town — a place where families could shop affordably, sustainably, and confidently.
Every piece here is hand-picked, gently loved, and carefully inspected so it’s ready for its next adventure — whether that’s a birthday party, a muddy hike, or another day of backyard play.
Thank you for being here and supporting a small, mom-run business. With every purchase you make, $1 is donated to our local food bank — so you’re not just shopping secondhand, you’re helping local families too.
Happy shopping, Creeksiders!
